Where I come from

Prague roots, honest work

Home base

Prague, Czech Republic

Proud to be Czech. In the 1930s, Czechoslovakia was the 8th most developed country in the world — built on reliable, precise industry.

My grandfather showed me that legacy. A hundred years later, Czechia is pushing forward in business again — powered by great people and honest work.

My grandfather

He taught me to buy and sell on the stock exchange before I could drive. Patience, value, timing — lessons I still use every day.

Pianos, then exile

The hard chapter

Fr. Jan Hummel's pianos were played by Austrian nobility, Czech townspeople and the Russian aristocracy.

After the Bolshevik coup the family fled Russia across the Baltic Sea. On that ship, a young daughter of the family died of pneumonia. We don't forget where we come from.

Giving back

Mentoring & lifelong learning

I got my first business lessons at the kitchen table — so passing experience forward feels natural. I mentor younger founders and entrepreneurs, in the family and beyond. It's simply part of the job.

Lifelong seeker of new technologies — a habit inherited from a family of engineers and makers. Abilities are built, not given. And balance is non-negotiable: building a company around healthy living makes no sense if you don't live it.
